Our annual pilgrimage to the Sun Inn @
Leintwardine did not disappoint, with 12 riders arriving from various
directions for fish & chips in the pub garden, on yet another
beautiful day. Dave T was out on his rowing recumbent and a warm
welcome to Lindsay, joining us for the first time, riding in from the
Knighton area. I didn't take any photos, probably due to the fact I
desperately needed food after another one of John's “it's going to
be an interesting route” type of rides, heading over the hills to Knighton,
up past the observatory, with lumpy lanes to Lingen and Wigmore, and
on into Leintwardine. The chip shop has had a full makeover, looking
very smart and spotless, with food delivered directly to the pub
garden as ever. For those who couldn't make the day, a photo to make you wish you had been there!
