Well I must say how impressed I was with the turnout to Aardvark Books Cafe on Wednesday 6th November. With heavy rain forecast and a measly 5 degrees ten riders braved the drizzly damp conditions unlike Yavuz and I - such wimps some would say. I can see we have a long way to go before we are considered "seasoned cyclists" - for now we remain "fair weather cyclists".
In the end the heavy rain didn't materialise and the cafe put on some hearty homemade soup with curry roasted pumpkin seeds to warm them up before having a good browse through the books and cuddly toys.
With all the tractors' mud on the roads I hope your bikes are now sparkling clean! Let's hope the December ride is dry.
